Help car wont start and I dont want to drive fords anymore
Ok I'e tried everything. Well first off my Starter Cut Relay went out so I jumped it. Its getting spark for sure, I changed Dizzy's, and I am getting spark from both when testing for spark. The car hasn't been cranked in a couple months so I figure the fuel injectors were gummed up so I get some starter fluid spray in the th. body. Started car and ran perfect for a few seconds, sputtered and died and I repaeated a couple times thinking the injectors were clogged. The car is in time because it was running perfect and u could just tell as well from the hum of the Greddy Exhaust. Oh, it sounded so perfect! Sorry I haven't drove my Honda in like 6 months, been stuck with a 91 Ford escort, yes OUCH! Anyway, My check engine light is not coming on. So I ran a hot wire to the ECU and it's rapid firing but no check eng light. When I mean rapid firing the main relay and fuel injectors are clicking rapidly and can smell massive amounts of fuel in the Intake Mani. Ok, so I try again w/ the stater fluid sprqay agian, same thing. So I assumed its my map sensor so I took it off to check if clogged bu t appeared clean, started car again w/ sensor off, car started and tryied to die, plugged the map sensor hole on th. body and idle seemed to level out to normal, but then died. So I gave up for the night. Do u think it could be the map sensor? Oh yeah, one more thing my tach isn't working either. My tach wouldn't been able to read the rpms trying to start but it ran when the map sensor was off for like 10 sec and I was reving up to around 3g's by the way the exhaust was sounding. Any suggestions anyone?

check all your ground wires, ie the one on your thermostat housing, and tranny, and any other ones. That was the prob on my bros car. It had the same symptoms you do, and we tested the same things you did, and finally it was a loose ground wire causing it all.
It's not the grounds, checked all/ I even added another grond form the thermo housing to the the tranny ground, and still nada.

Update, this is too weird for me to understand. Well like I said the stater cut relay went out but I have had the car started w/ it being out, but I have fixed that. Anyway, I put my old dizzy back on and changed the map sensor, it ran! I drove around the block a few times and it was overheating and my tach, speedo, and temp gauge not working, but that is for tommorrow's adventure. Well now w/ buying a brand new Moroso dizzy and being out 360 dollars I want to make sure it is the dizzy. So I put my old Map Sensor on and behold it is still running! So I'm dumbfounded at this point I could have it started months ago! Besides the clips and fuses is there a ground that have fallen off the Instrument panel causing all that too work? Please help
