Default B18C5 vs B18C1 in CRX

I am going to be building a car strictly for racing mostly drag or highway. I will be completely working the engine and will be turboing it. Is it worth the extra money going with a ITR engine over a GSR? Which motor would you go with ?

Most of the advantage in an ITR setup comes from the shorter geared transmission and LSD. The difference in Hp between the two isn't worth the additional expense...especially since you're tearing it down.

Of the two you mentioned I would get the GSR engine with a LSD equiped cable transmission.

If it were my money, I would do an ls vtec swap with the LSD cable tranny.

IF you are building it for boost then get the GS-R. Leave the B18C5's for the NA'ers.
