Default boost goes negative shown by GReddy E-01

ok heres what i see...external waste gate is connected to pressure line, ran back to IM...top line is connected to Greddy e-01 EBC... all charge pipes are connected w/ no leaks...turbo size is T03-T04..BOV is connected to IM vacume line as well... this is a NEW MOTOR...in brake in process...(gsr/b20 vtec turbo) im not exactly sure how to work the EBC as of yet...but here is what it is reading... i allow the car to idle and it idles in NEG boost...reading by the e-01 is -.30 through -.50...when i give it a little gas while idleling..it drops lower on the graph... in kinna new to FI, but i do know that the turbo wont really get into boost cause of the size till most likely 3000 - 4000 rms's....but is what im seeing normal...is there a way to adjust the settings so i dont idle in NEG boost... or is this just the way it is...? when i rev the motor...the BOV makes no sound what so ever...i know that it takes boost to activate the BOV...just wanted to add that in...any ideas anyone...

its normal to read vacuum at idle on N/A to turbo motors. when you give it gas in neutral, the vacuum should read closer to 0 and won't start boosting until you reach a higher rpm or have a load on it.

ok that makes sence...i took it for a spin around the block and gave it a little gas....i did rise....now...in order for me to get any higher readings on positive boost through the e-01....do i have to adjust that personally...or should it be giving a certian ammount of psi already? = cause its not riseing much above zero...but then again...i havent set the EBC to any certian ammount of boost as of yet...im not too sure how to use it

what kind of turbo kit do you have? the E-01 might have a default boost setting out the box like my profec B spec 2 but even with that setting (its like 7 psi ) you should be boosting. how fast did you go?
