Default Throttle Bodies and intake manifolds for em2?

Does anyone know if there are any throttle bodies or intake manifolds out for the d17a2 (04 civic ex coupe)? I have seen something like a universal skunk2 throttle body? How exactly will that work and would there need to be any modifications? Also, i have seen an intake manifold by venom on hopupracing.com. It says for sohc civics. Would that fit like it was made for a d17a2 or would there have to be any modifications?

http://www.maxbore.com takes your oem TB from 55mm to 59mm. kms intake manifolds suck, but you can swap a d16 vtec manifold on. search 7thgencivic.com for some info on that.

i was searching for the same thing a while back and i couldn't find anything. KMS intake manifold is only good if your running boost.

Someone on 7thgencivic.com just got his running and has good reviews. He may have read my comment above about its looks. I still stand by that statemet. But if it works

Why don't you copy and paste the info here and give credit to the original poster. Makes it a bit easier for someone to find info instead of searching around on multiple sites

i have seen in a few forums 4 throttle bodies from a gsx-r used as an intake manifold. What would be the pros and cons of this setup and how much would it cost to do?

i would also definetly be interested in how to convert a b16 manifold to fit a d17. Do you think it would give you good power, or better going with kms?

For the price......I think your better off buying a cheap y8 manifold and jsut making that fit. The KMS is decently priced and you can prolly pick up a full y8 mani for around 50 bucks then just find someone that can weld the new flang and you;ll have to fool with the vaccum lines and what not. Your prolly not going to see a huge diff between the y8 and kms

im better off just going with the kms manifold than modifying a b16 to fit. Saves a lot of hassle.

there was a vid posted here about someone using gsx throttle bodies as ITBs, its very interesting.

I was also researching about converting my intake manifold to a d16y8 intake manifold, im thinking of boosting and i dont think my plastic intake manifold is going to be too efficient.

theres a member on 7thgencivic that used a venom intake manifold and modified it to fit the d17a engine. Its a sweet piece and is currently up for sale.

If you have a link to the venom intake manifold, please post. That would be really interesting.
