Well I don't feel like forking over 500 bucks for a cable-hydro kit.
I want to put a b-series swap in my CRX (90) and use a hydro tranny. I know there are guys out there that say f*ck the DIYer, but I am a DIYer.
I am wondering if I use a cable b-series mount kit what problems would I run into? Is the hydro tranny different in size?
How to mount the clutch cylinder. I know I will have to cut and weld on my firewall to get this to mount that is not the problem. I am wondering how do i get the cable clutch to work with the hydro clutch? Switch pedals or is there a more in depth way to do it (fabricating my own pedal somewhat?)???
If you have any knowledge of this help me out since I help some of you guys out.

The tranny should be the same size, im not sure about mounts but i'd guess they are the same, it would be easy if you could get a whole clutch and hydraulic system from some other honda, then mount your pedal, hydraulics, run the lines then you should be in business. you may not even need a different pedal they could be the same im not sure, but the easiest way would be to get a the whole assembly from another honda. good luck

the holes that the mount -mounts to are different if you cut, weld, drill the mount it should fit, the kit does not use a master it used some weird bracket that the cable goes into that changes the direction of the force to push the clutch fork the right way just look at a picture of one and you will see how it works its not that complicated, i was going to do the same thing

I am aware how the hasport kit works. I want to use pretty much a 92+ hydro setup. master cylinder, hard lines, flex line, slave cylinder, hydro tranny.
Any more input? Anybody know if they pedals from a 92+ civic or 94-01 Integra will work?

Yeah I was thinking about that but I want to convert to a hydraulic system. No need for cable.
