Default OT: Trailer Cleaning

Ok so my nice white trailer is looking kinda dingy it has the black stains on all the exterior panels. Simply washing and waxing the panels does not remove the black stains. Anyone had any success getting this stuff off?

I'm in the same boat. I heard RV & motorhome dealers sell the stuff that takes it off and prevents it from coming back.

Purple stuff worked on my trailer. You can get it at autozone.

mix some bleach with water, apply with long handle brush or with a sponge, then spray clean with a hose after it sits for 10 or 15 min.

Not that I have ever washed my (open) trailer, but I like the RV cleaner available at Walmart for my RV.

I just washed my trailer last night in preparation for a track day Sunday and have the same streaking problem. I consulted a friend who would know and said it's the galvanized roof mixed with the aluminum corner causing the black streaking. He said what I need to do is get some Cool Seal for the galvanized and clear coat the aluminum after I buff out the streaking and it will not come back again. Seems like alot of work to me, but if it works it'll be worth it.
