Default eg suspension question.

so i'm about to have my first child and i'm currantly running the SWEET(kidding) dropzone shock and coilover setup in my hatch. i don't mind it too much but my wife has informed that she doesn't want the baby to die from shaken baby syndrome. so what should i get? should i go to a stock replacment shock and a lowering spring? should i change shocks and stay with the coilovers? are the KYB AGPs cool? i want a smooth baby friendly ride, but i don't want to go back to a stock setup. i don't want to spent a million dollers either.

Go back to stock but since you want the drop still, get some good springs.

Go with some Tein springs. I have had my friend's little baby in my car and it is not bouncy at all. They almost feel like stock, but give you a really nice look. the KYB shocks will go really nicely with that

yea kyb and some tein springs would be nice - set so its not to firm and adjust only other 2 options back to stock or another car

trust me your child wont get baby shaking syndrome, thats just a nice way for her to say "i dont want you messing w/ that car". either raise the car back to factory spec or get another car.

Well, its just easier that way to be honest. Project cars, whether daily driven or not, should be seperate from the "family" car. My opinion of course.

Also, no matter how "mild" you go, it will still be rougher on the child than a stock suspension.

i guess i don't need it to be stock feeling, just alot smother than it is now. Btw, my wife drives a Stealth TT and we're in the process of getting rid of that cause we just got a 97 passat. so we can't really afford to get a second car for me right now.

get some stock shocks and struts, but go with THESE springs...

tein high tech springs - they'll give you an aggressive stance, but still keeps your ride quality comfortable

Not to steal the show or anything but is it an alright idea to pick up aftermarket lowering springs and get new oem shocks installed together?
