You need a boost gauge too, don't forget that.

I was thinking the same thing. I think I've actually seen it before. No pics though.

How about where the cruise would go?

I've been wondering the same thing, I dont want the car drawing more attention than it already gets.

ive seen them where the cruise goes. They look cool, but dunno how easy they are to see.
The clock area is cool, but youd need to make a custom pod and IMO not worth the effort.
You dont have a deep mounting space there either. I have my PLX wideband mounted there and an AFC mounted there years ago

I do. It wasnt flush mounted or anything cuz the opening wasnt big enuff.
But the stand was close to the opening and the AFC in front of it

There is a pic of two gauges in the clock area. I think 'Mugenracer' was the one who did it.

I will be taking my gauges off the A-pillar and putting them in the cluster. For some reason I just don't dig them on the pillar. Too rice maybe? I don't know.

Oh yeah, and I've upgraded them from Autometer to Defi D-gauge for baller status Special thanx to BlueR

Keep it simple - if they go in this area, they are less likely to be seen from outside the car.

On the downside, they reflect up on the windshield a little at night.

if you relocate the cruise and dimmer, 2 1/16" gauges look/fit very swell in the openings...

There was a in car video from Expo post only a week or two age. It had 1 or 2 gauges mounted at the clock.

You could make a mount pretty easy out of some plate aluminum, unless you want to exposed gauge look

Easy to come buy, practically weightless, and prob cheap. IMHO its not worth the hassle. Having done absolutely no research on it I would think you need:

GSR/LS gas pedal assembly
Cruise Control brain
Cruise Actuator Unit (with cable)
Cruise Control clutch switch
Brake switch from GSR/LS (ie, car equipped with CC)
Steering Wheel Cable Reel from GSR/LS
Cruise Control brain mounting bracket
Cruise Control main switch
Set/Resume Steering wheel switches
Under hood dual Cable bracket
Misc mounting hardware and terminal connections from each switch

So with that said, I still dont think its worth it. I think I drive my r more in a day than most people on this board and still think that CC is not worth the time. Besides the car is just to fun to let the car drive for you.

Again this is strictly my opinion. To each his own, right.

It's not a great place for visability reasons.

agree, if within gauge cluster you don't have to turn your head and keep an eye on all gauges at once
