Hi all. I recentely purchased a non running 91 std hatch, it was said to only need the starter and alternator, which were both missing. I have a running 91 dx that i swapped the starter alternator and distributor from. Now when i try to start it the only progress i seem to have made is the main relay makes a clicking noise... and now I'm stumped..any help would be greatly appreciated.

You are going to need t check the basics first , do you have spark and fuel and compression, timing is next, it may be possible that the two distributors are not exactly compatible, tack the cap and inner black cover (if it has one) and align both reluctors in the same direction and see if the drive gear on the bottom are both oriented in the same direction.
