Whatcha guys think of my first official downpipe???
Well, just got done doing my complete ground up creation...well at least my first downpipe, I have done many exhaust work, but not a downpipe.....did the recirculated wastegate, with 3" stainless piping....whatcha guys think?

Also in the last pic, all I can say is you should really get in a comfortable spot that you can move around and what not, maybe its comfortable but to me it just does not look like a position I would want to be in when welding .
Looks good though, how big is the piping ? And if its 3 inches like I think it is, where did you get it from.

The piping IS 3".....the straights we got from a local exhaust shop and the mandrels we got from atpturbo.com
I plan on making a welding bench, just havent had a chance to......in the mean time, crouching down is killer on the back but I can get into good positions doing it

Nope....the car we are installing it on doesnt have a/c, but if it did.....no WAY would it fit haha!

watch those gloves though. i did some welding with those same gloves once, and splatter kept hitting them and then melting into the nylon(or whatever it is) and burning me

wow man they look great. im in the same boat you are. no welding bench so i do it crouching on the floor. deffinitily not comfortable.
does using the light allow you to see more of the puddle area when your welding? the mask i have is really dark and i can barely see the puddle unless im right up close to it.
