ok, i have a 92 accord ex with a h22 swap in it and i need to know what i need to do for a converter. im hoping there is one that will bolt right in and not need to be cut and welded and such.

i am using the h22's a-pipe. so im guessing the cat i need has to come off a prelude of some type cause it had the kinda offset 3 bolts on the a-pipe rather then the 2 with the accords.

also i am using an exhaust off of a 5 gen accord which is a little longer at the b-pipe i believe but that shouldnt be a problem, ill just need whatever cat would be used for an h22 swap into the 5th gen accord.

so can anyone tell me what i need to use here? i would like to be able to use the h22's a-pipe.

I know people have used prelude cats and had accord exhaust...only thing that needs to be 'fabbed' would be the connection which any compentent welder or exhaust shop should be able to do .

 

so what you're telling me is there is no bolt in solution most likely correct?

Not that I have read. I know a lot of people have had problems with the h22 header/downpipe going into an accord exhaust and custom pieces were needed. I would say get a prelude cat then get a custom piece or flange made to bolt to the exhaust.
