Help with choosing all season tires
Hey everyone,
Sorry to post a tire question here. I'm not authorized to post in the tire section. Was it something I said?? hehe. Anyways, I'm looking for a decent set of all season tires that aren't too expensive. They are going on my older Integra beater car. I wanted to know which of these would brands are good in terms of traction in the rain and grip on the road.
Falkens ZE512 $345 cdn.
Deans LS1 $365
Geostar $70/tire..............never heard of them
Yokahama Avid T4 $106/tire
Pirelli P3000 $96/tire
Please let me know what you guys or gals think.
Thanks.
i run yokohama avid h4 in the winter. they seem to be great so far in the rain as well as light snow. i live in pennsy so we get it all. even with like 2-3 inches of snow i had good traction, ice is another story. i think goodyear just came out with an all season F1 tire and from what i've read they seem to be good. i could only imagine how much they cost though.
I'd actually go for the ZE512s, or even the newer ZE912s that replaced them...I ran a set of ZE512s through two winters and put over 20k miles on them and they still performed pretty well...not much of a match for summer tires, but if you're looking for all-seasons I'd definitely recommend them...lots of all-weather performance for the money you pay.
