I know that its going to be different for everyone, but I'm just trying to get a measure of an approx time I'm gonna have to change them.

I know i shoud go measure pad thickness but Im too lazy (and its too cold out these days)

So, how long did your brake pads last? I have 15,300 with 2 Autocrosses on them, my brakes are starting to feel like chit. ATE Super Blue and Goodridge SS lines are on the way

 

well ya know how i drive and i got 22500 out of them, but when i looked at them they had a heat crack down the middle of them and the tire shop who last rotated the tire put the lugs on too tight and cause my discs to heat warp.

so i lightly shaved the discs and put stock pads back in and back to normal!

 

Mine lasted 3,809 miles. That included 223 actual track miles over the course of a few days at Putnam Park and GingerMan.

I have almost 49K on mine and still stops just fine.

 

Dude, It's as easy as just taking a look. I can see them thur the wheels..... Ohh sorry I forgot. We've got 15' Civic Type'R' wheels on our ITR's here in Australia, there is big gaps in our wheels.

I just came back from 1 full day at Wakefield Park Raceway at Goulburn.
The pads are at about half life (36,000 KMS - Nearly two years of street driving)
But yesterday really put them to the test. They didn't let me down, but the Brakes were getting a bit mushy by the end of the day. Now, the inital bite isn't there and the disc's are slightly glazed.
I'll have to get something alittle better......Endless here I come.

~27,000 fronts are 1/2 gone.
The rears are dead (killed this past weekend at VIR)

I swap the fronts at the track for "better" pads.

No, y'all have a 15" version of the JDM Integra Type-R wheels. the civic type-r wheels are the exact same as the USDM ITR wheels.

 

35K on the stock fronts and they still had 1/2 pad left.
54K on the rears and still going strong. Probably a 1/4 of the pad left with AEM/Nissan pads ready to install when they die

 

.....???? I've seen plently of Photo's of your USDM ITR wheels, THEY ARE WAY DIFFERENT from the JDM Civic Type'R' wheels that we've got...What year... Maybe that's the difference? Our Type'R' wheels weight about 5.5KG (No rubber)
I have it on good authority that the JDM(year 2000-1) Integra Type'R' wheels are 16". ( Honda Car Club - Newsletter about 2 months ago) With the New RSX(2002) Type'R' on 17"s.

We can check the brake pads through the spokes in the wheels here in the States, too.

 

62k miles front and rear pads replaced still had some pad left. bought new front rotors also I should have had the fronts turned.

 

Approx. 40K and still braking fine

 

I'm on my 3rd set at 8000 miles.

 

Right at 60k on the front and back. Still plenty of pad left.

Mine lasted about 6,000 miles, so did my front tires, thats with track time though! I love my Porterfeild R4S pads now!

 

i got rid of my fronts at about 16k - they still had a little bit left in them probably another 1-3k
they were also abused at 2 track events before i discovered the beauty of bl00s
