B20A5
I have the chance to get a b20A5 and i have been wanting to make a b20/vtec should i take this oppurtunity to get the b20 or should i get a b20 out of a CRV? The reason i am asking is because i had some friends tell me i didnt want the B20a5 im not sure. So i am just trying to get an opinion or what not on what motor i should use.

*Buzz* wrong.
So it cant rev up to 9k rpms, big deal, no need. It's got too long a stroke. What is not reliable? Desireable, sure I'll give you that, why would anyone other than myself and other 3rd genners want the engine in the first place.
converting it to vtec is alot of work like you said. Oh and now that I look at it, if you mean a b20a5 converted with a vtec head is not reliable, then I may have to agree with you.
