Default losing cat and muffler/good or bad ?

may lose my cat and muffler and just run a 2 1/2" pipe all the way back, any real improvement in performance ? if yes what amount of hp. thanks for any info.

if N/A not much compared to sound/hassle from cops and ears ringing

Yeah I have to go with everyone else on this losing the cat my give you some perfromance. If you lose cat and muffler and run straight piping it isn't going to do anything in fact it my hurt you performance and you will go deaf.
