Just started to happen recently. my car will overheat when the ac is on and im idling. the first time it started to overheat was when i boosted a little while the a/c was on. Ever since then it starts to overheat while the a/c is on while idling for awhile. when a/c is off the temp goes down not drastically but it will not rise. Any suggestions?

high pressure in what?
high pressure in what?
How old is your radiator? If your radiator is not up to par you will experience this while the a/c is on. Flush your radiator and see if that fixes it or helps. If not just replace the radiator.

i have a 00 si w/ the stock radiator. i have a slim fan on it also which pulls a lot of air. ill try to flush it since i havent done that yet. the car only has about 37k.
although slim fan "move alot of air" they are not always as effiecent as stock fans because they dont have shrouds to direct the air across the whole surface of the radiator. Unless you have the FAL slim fans that may be part of your problem.

if flushing does not fix the prob. then i will have to find another solution.

What size is the slim fan?
I had the same exact problem when i was using a 10" for my condensor. At idle, it wasnt pushing enough air, so the temps would rise when the a/c was on. But when driving, everything cools down.

the size of the fan is a 12" got it from b18bturbo. I dont know what causes it. When i dont have a/c on it never overheats even if its really hot outside. any other suggestions.
