POwer steering removal problem!
i just had removed the power steering from my 1996 civic i just took off both of the lined cut them both and looped them together with a hose and clamped it. now that i put a new motor and built trans in the car, i get this nasty clicking when i turn the wheels to left while driving slow, it feels like an axle problem, but i just puta new one in, could it be something to do with the steering rack binding up or maybe they just put the diff in wrong
if the diff was put in wrong, then you'd have trouble making turns in any direction.
could be the steering rack. might be a cv joint? does it click only at low speed, or is it because you're giving more steering angle and it clicks?
