I cant for the life of me get the strut bolt off that hold the strut and spring together. the whole thing turns. any tricks?

 

It's frozen in there. If you've tried heating/PB blaster/ Air gun/ all that and it really won't come out, you'll either need to drill it or replace the lca and strut.

i think he means the center one that holds the top hat in litter- he would need a new strut/ and top hot since they do not come with after markets or need to cut that bolt off releasing the old one !

Ok, in that case: When you go to loosen it, it'll spin and spin if you don't put an allen key at the top of the threads. You'll see.

lol - i thought it might have been stipped like mine is on the eg- but good thing for you its not ! - if its a stock spring on be carefull the spring compressor is on tight or the spring will shoot off
