just finished my manual jdm d15b in my del sol s. it was once a d15b7 automatic. the thing doesn't crank up. i get power... but when i turn the key, all i hear is a click and my starter doesn't fire up. (new battery) check engine light gives me vtec error (i haven't wired vtec yet) and nothing else. i purchased another starter from autozone and still experiencing the same problem.

it wont fire up cuz you have a manual transmission starter. i believe you have to run a wire from the starter to signal wire (off the automatic) on thre driver's side cabin harness. i cant remember which wire it was. well at least you know what to search for.

i plugged in everything... i thought this stuff was all plug and play

so, you mean i have to route wires? i'm guessing i'm getting no power in my starter because of this? thanks now finding where to wire... i have no idea what to look for.

 

bump for some help... been up all night searching. no sleep, no meth, just a big *** bottle of some random energy drink.
