what does a gsr top out at?
Damn...8K in 5th?? You better be careful.
Sorry I dunno how fast you were going though, I have an LS. The speedo would probably be around the 140-150 or even higher mark probably.

I hit 135mph before in my GS-R before any mods. I could have gone more but I had to slow down because there was traffic up ahead on the freeway. There was still some RPM's left in 5th gear before the 8000...
I never did pull 8000rpm in 5th gear before, so I'm not really sure...

Well this should help, i gotta GSR, and every 2g in 5th is 40 mph, in my car when im goin 60 in 5th at 3,000 then every 2,000 its 40 mph, i took mine on the highway, and just punched it when i got in and i got 2 120 in 4th gear at 4,000 so if u were really goin at 8,000 in 5th then u were goin 160...damn fast if u ask me, what do u have done 2 your car.. lol

its funny that you mention that rpm/speed equation cause thats how i've been figuring out my speed for a while and its exact! i've verified with friends driving next to me but i think as you wind out the gear it changes cause i've never heard of an integra (not crazy modded) can hit 160. in third gear you can go almost 90 fourth 120

that is kinda true, but it gets max horses at redline, so if u got it 2 8,000 then u should be around 160 u know, cuz if it stopped pullin then u wouldnt of gottin 2 8,000 do u have a modified ecu or the stock one????
in 2nd gear, you can hit 62mph. 3rd gear 91mph. Our integra's CANT hit 160mph, unless we have a HIGHLY Mod'd one. I'm pretty sure it tops out around 140mph. WIth more mods, maybe 150, but that'll be insane...
Sorry but integras wont go 160 mps unless they are modded alot. Or if your going down hill. I would say if you were in 5th gear at 8k rpms you were probably in the 140's. depends on what your mods are. I know if your going over 120 or so you start to get shaky cause of the suspension. Upgrading the suspension: Shocks, springs, sway bars, strut bars, tie bars, ect. would help.
it took me a while to get there in 5th the rpms were creepin and the road felt like it was 2 feet wide. it was very smooth no shaking but it felt like i was fighting the wind and the car would sway from side to side, i've got a three inch drop so its fairly stable.
Im not sayin they will, im sayin if u go 2 8,000 then u even said the damn 2,000 rpms its 40 mph, so if u get 2 8,000 in 5th and u hit 60 in 5th in 3000, then u do the math.......
Just last week i got my car to 150, i was just crusing at 80 and then dropped it to 4th and decided to hit it. When i was in 5th doin like 130, the car was pulling hard as hell, so i kept goin. I got it to 150 on a stock speedo, which really must be 140-145. The car was pulling so hard too. I didnt look at the tach, cuz i was watching the road, but my friend was glued to the speedo. When it was at 150 i just backed off, cuz thats too fast. My car felt stable too.
tell you what when i had my stock exhaust top end runs like that were a lot stronger, but i guess the loss of back pressure took its toll? my rpms creeped so slow that i didnt think I was going to make it. as far as the tire, i was on there the stock gsr's. michellins i think i just traded rims and they were on there.
I dont know what rpm i was at. If i ever do it agian im gonan make sure to check it out. My ecu has its redline at 8800 rpm too, so i may have been over 8000rpm.
8800? wow! but you havent upgraded your cams or valvetrain, i thought that gsr cams had no power above 8200. or maybe you have but its not in your sig? well from what i remember spec said 147 but i know they usually say less than what you can get. no one here has pushed their gsr to the max? wow i guess i'm mean to my car
I believe a stock GSR tops out at 142@8100

GSR 5th gear w/GSR FD is approx. 20 mph PER 1k rpm.
So potentially = 8*20 = 160... technically it's possible. Thou, at speed... the guages tend to be less and less accurate.
Vazquez - Who would love to have professional calibrated digital guages...
Vazquez - Who doesn't high-speed race... so decided he doesn't need special guages.

150 seems to be the average response, that was the only time i had ever done that and it really scared the ish out of me, after i slowed down i realized that if the slightest thing would have gone wrong, like a squirel running into the road, i'd be dead. i dont suggest it but i just wanted to know how fast i went. thanks
brother's 96 teg gsr. all it has performance-wise is Intake, Header, Exhaust. He's topped out at 160 mph alongside a JRSC boosted 99 teg gsr driven by a 40+ year old lady
