To sum it all up and a bit of thought about Chris N's comment "how much is one going to put himself through before he's had enough"....
I have decided to sell off every part that deals with turbos to build the motor N/A. Blowing one engine has made me a bit paranoid and for my style of driving, I feel that 450whp is a bit too much. Reliability has become the top issue as of late, and after consulting with some of you here from HT over the phone, I feel this is the right direction for myself, and the longevity and enjoyment of my car. To those of you I spoke with, I appreciate the words of encouragement and un-biased opinions.
This turbo kit is Type-R ready BTW

Wow. Big change.
I didn't mean to cause a giant chain reaction with one question - but hopefully you can get the car out and enjoy it 99.9% of the time from now on

Yeah, sucks to hear it, but at the same time it's probably a little bit of a relief for you. One less headache, hopefully!
OTOH, it's not to late to join the dark side... follow your destiny...

I'm not a turbo fan, but that aside, you need to be able to enjoy the car. Too many guys try to make the car into something it isn't, then get sick of it and sell it when the plans don't work.

Better yet: Cry of the Valkyries!
Just a matter of time ... but for the time being I like getting 30+ mpg
I need to revive my 85 CRX Si as a daily driver in order to put the turbo motor in the ITR, or as I'd suggested above ... just a few financial details need to solidify prior thereto.
Brandon, good luck with whatever you decide to do.

Damn Brando.
I can remember our conversation before Expo when we actually "talked" for the first time. You were saying that the hype was real as far as turbo's go and I was very hesitant although still interested. With hearing about Dr. Poo blowing his motor a few weeks ago and all the problems you've had to go through with this build, I'm glad I decided against boost. I'm very glad to hear you've stuck it out and are going another route. I would've sold the car and been resentful a long time ago.
PM me. I wanna know your N/A build plans and see when we can hook up
