I have a 2005 gsx-r 600 that I just got back from the repair shop after it being stolen and a little thrashed. Now that I have some extra cash from insurance I wanted to treat her to some parts to make her feel better. What I am asking is the bulb sizes and where you bought the bulbs. I looked on ebay and they are selling them for like 10 bucks but the ads do not seem too clear about sizes and models so I was wondering if anyone has experience buying from ebay or if you got it from somewhere else and it installed easy can you please let me know! thanks guys.

 

A real HID bulb, or one of those look-a-likes?

I think trbo823 has HIDs installed on his bike.

I have a Luminics bulb in my bike. Not HID, but the quality is damn good.

Check the service manual to find out what type of bulb you have. The usual ones are H4 & H7.

 

Don't put HIDs into your existing housings. Do it right, do a retrofit. You'll be MUCH happier with the results.
