yes, another ITR jacked, not mine. but at the meet spot for night racing over here in seattle.. some dude with a 1 month old ITR got jacked at gunpoint by 3 guys wearing ski masks. in and out with a heart beat

 

Damn seems like WA is getting crazy too...that's 2 in WA in the last week.

 

I hate to say it...but it is his fault for taking the R to illegal street races... I don't think he would have gotten carjacked at gunpoint at the local drag strip!

Isn't it a good idea to pay some dealership or garage to engrave your VIN on the most wanted parts of your R and even on the glasses like they do with Toyotas?

that engraving thing is a good idea, like engrave the itr # or something onto the head somewhere not very noticable, and if it's stolen, you'll have proof it was yours.

geez, how did I know this was coming? speaking as someone with extensive experience in the subject, I felt confident in sharing my opinion strongly with my community...I am tired of reading about people losing their cars/money to jerkoff punks looking for trouble. I am frustrated and heaven help me for voicing my opinion without a three-page explanation with footnotes. if my R ever gets stolen, i dont think i'd want it back. i'd want the ******* to pay definately, but i dont know if it would ever feel right again....
