buying a pre-modded teggy?
hey guys
im a civic owner looking for another car to play around with
ive seen an integra in my area for sale, but it already has suspension mods, and an aftermarket manifold.
the chassis has 120K on it; however, the engine was just recently rebuilt so it has 1k. by rebuilt, does it usually mean the timing belt/gaskets/etc were changed?
are there any downsides of buying a pre-suspension modded car?
also, what kind of an insurance increase am i looking at if im going from a 2dr civic coupe to a integra GSR?
thanks a mil!

Think of it like this.... Why did he have an aftermarket manifold? I for one think its odd to have all that susenpsion work and only an aftermarket intake manifold. Probably returned it to as stock as he could. Ask them about it and check to see little things that might have been change/moved/messed with on the car. If they did have it modified and judging by the driver they probably beat on it.
