What does worn engine mounts sound like?
Since I installed my JRSC, I have been getting a soft but noticable noise coming from the front. The noise almost sounds like a grind, but but not metalic. I have never launched my car hard and am very experienced in clutch use so I really doubt the clutch is worn out. The noise happens from the time I start to roll with acceleration. It stops fairly soon.
I am thinking it is either an engine mount or possibly the springs in the clutch.
Once I get rolling I do not get the noise again, even in second or in first when rolling.
I haven't checked the mounts out or the clutch, but have checked to make sure the supercharger isn't hitting anything or the pulleys.
What does worn engine mounts sound like? What about my stock clutch springs having a problem with the added torque?
