Default My 95 GS-R

I have a 95 GS-R. I bought it 2 years ago with 30k miles on it. After about a year of owning it, more and more rattles start to happen and now with 59k miles, the rattles just fuggin annoy me. Also the motor is somewhat louder than when I bought it. I'm still stock except for CAI. Have you guys gone through same problems???

Makes me think that my car is really really old and sell it and get silvia s15 or sumthing...what do you guys think??

I think that you'd really be pulling your hair out if you had my car for just a day.

I'm a little ahead of you on the rattle-adding mods...motor mount inserts, Koni yellows, and rear stb.

In the morning, when the sun hasn't had a chance to touch the car's inside, the center console, door panels, the change in the change drawer, the rear panels, rear stb, and steering wheel all go through this song and dance of clicks and clacks while the engine's revving down from the warm-up. I betcha even the floormats have their own little doo wap shoo bop.

Believe me when I say it only gets worse with mileage and modification.

Hahahahaha!!

Yea, so far I've had my exhaust manifold heat shield, Throwout bearing and cat heatshield all start to rattle on me... The heatshields I just welded and I'm taking it in, in 3 days to get the throwout bearing replaced.

My car is lowered 2.25 inches but my suspension is pretty quiet, and i got the camber kit with rubber bushings so its very quiet

240SX , unless you swap to an SR20DET which, would be a pain in the ***. The KA24DE is a truck derived motor and you would hate it after having 8000 smooth revving rpm to play with.

well, not just at wot but on idle where it is noticably loud and the lugluglug sound is annoying..

Oh but we get the silvia s15 with the sr20det motor as stock standard. prolly costs about $23kUS

Well I guess rattling is just normal in the GS-R. Coz when im ridin on my brother's WRX, I can hear any rattle....Man, it just drives me crazy. Everytime I clean my car, the rattles that I remember makes me wanna pull the car apart and put it back together tighter!!!!!

Man, I hate it when people diss the 240SX! Having torque is great. Not having to rev all the way to redline to achieve maximum acceleration is also good. And the kicker, it's RWD!!!

Regardless, he didn't even say he wanted a 240SX. He said he wanted an S15 Silvia. Show me a genuine Silvia that came stock with a KA engine.
