what's my problem...?
i have a 90 LS with 103+ miles on it. at times it feels weird driving. when i press the gas sometimes it won't accelerate like it should. do i need a valve adjustment or what? speak on it PLEASE. thanks so much...
You didn't really describe a specific problem, so nobody will be able to give you links or helpful info.
First step is to do a tune-up, you need to change your distributor cap and rotor, sparkplugs, fuel filter, oil, transmission fluid, air filter, check your timing if you haven't already. If you hear clicking/tapping noises coming from the head, you can assume you also need to adjust your valve lash. Go to http://www.c-speedracing.com, g2ic.com, and http://www.team-integra.net for how-tos on various maintenance procedures).

You say your rpm's will rise quickly, well, isn't that acceleration? Maybe I am not understanding what you are saying by this. Any chance someone installed a lighter flywheel before you got the car?
You don't state any recent maintenance, so probably a tuneup will bring you back to speed. Also make sure your cat conv isn't clogged, bogging you down.

well, what i mean is that the rpm's rise and fall rapidly and repeatedly within a few seconds when i shift to a new gear. you can hear it from my exhaust too.

in about 3rd gear, its starts to do this. it'll go from up down almost half then back up then back down. its then after i shift again and press on the gas it won't go any faster. it'll stay at the same speed, and pressing the gas harder does nothing either.

That's what I thought initially when the OP said that he would press the gas and the car would not accelerate immediately as it used to.
