Default 99 si coil overs or koni's

i have a stock 99 si. I am looking for a clean drop 1in-1.4in max front/rear.

I have no need to adjust the height as long as it stays in the 1-1.4in drop limit..

I used to have a 00 ex with the nuespeed coilovers. I didnt think the ride was harsh or bad at all, but now theres just alot more options out there. From the dyno graphs it looks like the nuespeeds are prob one of the worst?

I wouldnt mind having and adjuster to change the damping. Setting the ride height would be ok but like I said i Just want it in my 1-1.4in drop max range. I like the price on the neuspeeds, i think there 850 new. I would like to stay under 900 price range..

I am a spirted driver I enjoy fun corners on back roads. I autox 1-2 times a year.

what do you suspension pros suggest?

i was thinking maybe koni yellows with eibach pro kit?

Koni yellers with GC are $750 with off-the-shelf rates, or $790 with custom rates. Prob your best bet as far as price goes against other systems. 400 front and 325 rear for rates might suit you well. Pair this setup with the GC tophats/mounts, and you'll have a pretty comfortable ride.

I would recommend H&R cupkit but tis about $750+ unless you can find it on sale. It is basically a koni yeller shock with sportline springs. Might as well get koni/gc for that price.

your on the right track...stick to the yellows and the pro kit...but if your going to autox later on down the road get the koni/gc setup other than that stick with the pro kit and yellows...

if your lookin for that small of a drop just buy a flat drop spring instead of buyin a full coilover set-up... you only buy coils if you wanna sllaaammm your car. the spring you get in generally bigger for flat drop then coils anyways so itll be a better ride
