Turbo 4 Guys... Which Hydro tranny???
Im currently looking for a hydro tranny for my setup and would like to know which tranny you guys prefer. 99-00 Si tranny or GSR tranny?
Tire size and RPM/ MPH through traps would be nice if you care to share.
Thanks for any input.

Go here, plug i slick size and rev limit, should get you close to helping you choose tranny. http://autocrossing.com/cgi-bin/gearcalc.cgi
I'm planning to run b16 tranny on 25's reving to 10k if needed. Calculator says i should be able to go 152mph in 4th

John, what happened at Moroso? When I saw that race on the schedule, I had you guys (in my mind) in the finals. Was paying attention to the qualifications/eliminations on the NHRA website. Guess that's what racing is, shows you anyting can happen, and don't ever count yourself out.
Hope you guys get everything dialed in.

Oh by the way: B16 with 26's trapping 148mph @9100 (on logger).

Thanks everyone for the replies.
Paul, I plugged in the GSR tranny on 25's and to go around 152 it will be around 9300 rpm. Hmmm decisions...

Boost controller wasn't working right the first 2 qualifiers, and then the throttle body shaft broke on the 3rd qualifier. Luckly we had another and got it fixed but I had to change the throttle cable back to the stock one. We tested it by driving it up to the lanes and back, checked the 2 step. Well the little white plastic clip that holds the cable to the pedal worked it's way loose when I was in the burnout box. Hopefully we'll make it up for Englishtown for some really quick runs.
