Default Is there really an insurance break at age 25

ok guys bear with me, another newbie question

im 24, i turn 25 in like 5 months. im going to buy my first bike right before i turn 25, because thats when i can buy a brand new bike and pay it off in cash. i have been shopping around for insurance right now and prices are a little steep, will the quotes be cheaper when im 25.

i will have my license and msf done in september. so i will have my bike endorsement for 6 months before i get an insurance policy

For cars it's 25, for bikes it's 30. That is what I have been told by multiple ins companies.

Just turned 25 on aug 10th, I got a note in the mail from state farm saying my rates dropped on both the bike and the car. The car dropped like $30 month, but the bike only went down alittle bit like $7 a month.

State Farm told me about $30 cheaper a month when I turn 25, i'm only 21 now though.

I get one when I turn 19, then 22, then 25, every three years or something.

I thought there would be a significant drop at 25, but what from what I am reading there doesn't seem to be, even for cars.

I got a pretty nice drop when I turned 25, it helps I have not had a ticket in 8 years as well though. I only pay 600 a year full coverage for my 1krr.

And since there are no more insurance breaks, I forget how old I am now, I used to look fwd to birthdays because good things like saving money happened.

I didn't experience an insurance drop when I turned 25. I did when I told them (Geico) I was married, though. My premium went down about $5/mo. Not nearly enough to offset the wedding costs...

If I remember correctly when I turned 25 it only went down like 6 or 7 bucks a month.

The lady told me that I would get a better discount when I get married, but then I gotta deal with a woman driver on my insurance so there goes the discount jk

I heard that so called "significant drop" happens at 30 now and you only get a slight drop at 25.

There is only a drop at 25 if you have been driving since you were 16. That is your drivers license and not your M1. I have been told this by State Farm. Im 24 now, got a quote and it was 1k for full coverage 100k/300k. She ran another quote for having 9 years of driving experience, and it went down to 350 for the exact same coverage. Sad part is that they dont give any other discounts like good student, MSF course, how long youve had your M1, etc.
