Is it really necessary to replace this everytime u remove your valve cover?

 

99% of the time that you take it off, it breaks. so yes

 

Just be careful with it, and clean it off good.

 

nope only if its in bad shape
but make sure to use some hondabond ont he corners

i removed my gasket over 10times still havnt ripped once
either you are ripping them off too fast or you using some pos gasket that isnt oem specs

 

Yeah ... make sure you don't rip it or anything, but if it leaks oil or the gasket is rock hard ... then I advise you change it.

 

It's not like you torque down the valve cover very tightly anyway. As long as it's not damaged you can still reuse it.
