Default Check engine

my friends check engine light went on in his stock 98 coupe, the code is low voltage current to the O2 sensor, he put an O2 simulator on but light still goes on , how could this be cured? bad sensor?

probably replace the sensor, or try cleaning it with carb cleaner. He didn't try the o2 sim on the primary o2, did he?

you can't simulate the primary, o2 sims should only be used on secondary o2s. he should swap the secondary o2 to the primary spot and wire the sim in at the secondary location.
