Im about to make up a custom exhaust and was wondering if a stick welder would work? all the welding can be done of the car and I have one laying aroud here so just wondering. I know MIG is best. The stick welder says it can weld as little as 18 guage and the exhaust is 14guage. what do you guys think?

You can do it, but welding on a round surface with a stick welder takes practice. I personally hate it.
