Default Question about integra cluster

I noticed that you cant mix and match 94-01 integra cluster. I know that 00-01 is different then the rest and my question was, is it difficult to change the green film on the back of one cluster to another to make everything work correct? Is it easy to damage the film and ruin the whole cluster all together? I wanted to try this, but someone told me i would just mess it up and be stuck with two broken clusters. If anyone has done this i would really appreciate your advice. Thanks

Don't pull the green film, just swap the individual gauges...

I swapped the green film on more than 1 occasion and had no problems. Just take your time and be careful.

I had a JDM 98spec ITR cluster in my 97 GSR, it worked perfectly, no mods. That cluster was then put into a 95 GSR, and also worked perfectly. Didnt have to switch or swap anything.

What he said.. they just pop right out with a little pressure from your index finger, but if you feel like swapping the green circuit film thing, be my guest, I suppose that would work as well.
