Default HELP ME OUTT!!! PLZZ

ok i hear alot about obd1 and obd2 and sometimes obd0, can some1 clarify what this is and why it is so important....i want to know everything about each one and the differences

On Board Diagnostics - Level 0,1,2

It's different operating types basically. I'll let someone else who knows what they're talking about interject some more usefull information... That's about all I know.

They are just different generations of engine management on-board computers.

OBD-0 any fuel inj model-91
OBD-1 92-95
OBD-2 96- on

Some are better because you can modify them more. A famous ecu is P28 from 92-95 civic EX/Si D16Z6 OBD-1.

Hope that clears it out a little.

If your car is from a different OBD from your engine (that you are swapping) then you are often forced to change OBDs to make the engine run better OR tune your existing ecu to your engine's needs.
