I got an 96 LS (auto), for a 96 dx coupe (auto). But I try and try, and the tranny seems to be either longer or something, because is not sitting in place. I try using the civic mount on the tranny, because my car doesn't have the piece for the tranny like the integra. So I need a solution, can somebody help me.

 

dont u need to use an integra mount when swappin in an ls

 

you need an integra rear mount and front tranny mount

 

well the top tranny mount is different, and I can't use it, because de integra has like a bracket welded to the chassis and the mount you screw it to the tranny. Meanwhile, the civic has the mount screwed to the chassis, and the bracket on the tranny. I tried and looked around and it doen't fit. You know if any company sell the bracket to adapt the mount.?

 

um maybe cause there tottally different motors. do you have a stock motor in you dx??

Ok, let me refrase this. I have a 96 civic coupe (automatic), and I bought an 96 integra LS engine (automatic){complete swap}. It starts and everything is running great, but I need to know if there is an adapter around there that I can use. Why?, because the upper transmission mounts are opposite to each other on the B and D series.

You will most likely have to make you own mount on the frame rail... Get two pieces of 1/4" steel plates and weld them in where you want the tranny to sit.

No for the 96-00 civics its a rear bracket from a 99-00 civic si, the teg rear bracket will not work. If this was a 92-95 civic then the teg one would be right
