another a/c swap question
b18b swapped into a 95 dx coupe. using the b18b compressor, will the lines from a 97 del sol vtec run from the b-series compressor to my condenser?
thanks in advance!
thanks in advance!
I HAVE THE SAME SWAP IN MY COUPE IM RUNNIN MY CIVIC LINES WITH A INTEG COMPRESSOR I FLEXED THE HOSES BUT WORD IS U CAN USE AN CRV AC BRACKET AND USE UR STOCK CIVIC COMPRESSOR TO RUN IT ....
yeah i heard the same thing, but my civic compressor was bad and the teg one was new and came with the swap, so i figured i would try and get it going if i could.

Does all four bolts on the compressor screw into the mount? I am almost certain though, for the d series lines to work, you need to use a d series compressor.

yeah the compressor is on the original teg bracket bolted to the motor. i was wondering if the suction and discharge lines from the del sol with the b16 would work to run from the compressor to the condenser. they are different part numbers from the stock dx lines, so i was thinking they might work as both the teg and del sol vtec compressors are ND's and not the d-series Sanden compressor. im basically hoping that i just have to buy these lines, rather than buy a whole new compressor and the lines(i dont have the stock dx suction and discharge lines either)
