Default Find The Line Motorsports @ Mid-America Motorplex 9/3 Pacific Junction, IA

Greetings!

Just popped in to let you guys know about an event that Find The Line Motorsports is hosting in the upper midwest

It's going to be a high performance driving event at Mid-America Motorplex in Pacific Junction, IA.

We run a really relaxed event with various run groups depending on your speed. If you're new to high performance driving professional instruction can be made available to you for a very reasonable price. New and experienced drivers alike can expect to get as much run time as you can handle. Our last event one driver reported putting 160 TRACK miles on his car!

This is a great opportunity to get gobs and gobs of track time and put those mods to the test!

You can find the club here:

MAM is an awesome track...I'd love to go...but that $150 price tag is too rich for my blood.

i'm not so sure that the price tag is unfair given that test days put on by the track before SCCA regional/national weekends cost $200. but....given the fact that the amount of corner workers and safety support will be low, the drivers on the track will not be as aware, safe, or courteous of other drivers, and the orginization of the event as a whole will probably be at a level somewhere below those before legit race weekends, i would expect somewhat of a discount.

i would still kinda like to go, but isn't this over labor day weekend?

Sucks standing there watching the cars go by, knowing you could be out there, huh?

I've not been to another organization's events at MAM so I can't draw any comparisons. What I can say however is that we have more than adequete corner worker coverage to ensure that everyone is "aware, safe and courteous". We have never had any complaints about how any of our events are run. To the contrary, we've gotten quite a few compliments on how smoothly things have gone at our past events. If you have any comments you'd like to make once you've actually been out there with us and know what's what we'd be more than happy to hear them.

Our price for the event just barely covers our cost for the day with our minimum of 20 drivers. If we can consistently get more cars out there the price will likely go down. We're doing this because we want to create opportunities to drive the track.

Thanks for your comments! if you have any questions please feel free to contact me at gairloch@gmail.com or on our forum.
