Default dumb question

I know ive seen a thread about swapping a B16 into a civic/del sol that had a D16 in it. Can't find it and can't remember what i searched for. I am really just looking for the wiring aspect of it, from D16 to B16 isn't complicated but i am under the impression some wiring has to be done, so if someone could just point me in the right direction it would help out a lot.

If your current motor (d series) isn't vtec you will have to wire that and even if it is the knock sensor has to go to the D3 terminal, http://www.hasport.com/Tech/Wring/egdx-vtec.pdf

The link I gave you explains the KS wire routing, but otherwise plug and play. Oh BTW without the KS wire the P30 tends to go into limp, ie no vtec. So make sure you run that wire to the D3 terminal on the ECU..

wire up the knock sensor. it's one of the easiest plug and play swap: b16 into d16z6 powered civic.
