Default can't control a/f over 6000 rpm

Hi,

over 6000 rpm, I cant get to lower the fuel ratio. It's too rich at 10.4. I went from -34% to -50% on the S-AFC and it had no effective change.
Check out the big drop in the a/f. I've been told this will flush the cylinders with gas and cause damage over time. I suppose you all agree on this?
Any ideas why this problem is occuring? Please dont bash me for using a SAFC right now.

B18B1 not-modified
Turbo T3 60mm @ 6 psi
450 cc injectors with low impedence resistor box
MSD Boost ignition control
35mm external wastegate
APEXI S-AFC
Intercooler 24"

I think the injectors might be too big for the SAFC to have control over 6000 rpm. I got those fat injectors for the future when the motor would be built for over 6 psi.

Below are my dyno runs on a dynopack.
Those are only a/f corrections on the SAFC.
Top HP is at 6000 and after that, the A/F get way too rich and impossible to control.

Have you guys have any ideas / suggestions / comments regarding my issue? Anything that would help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,
didz

you got it man, the safc has trouble controlling anything over 310cc from my experience. Not sure what the afc hack thing is but i think its some way to rig the afc to control bigger injectors like 440cc. You could always try to raise the boost alittle to bring the air fuel down, but thats kind of the wrong way to do things. You should really get better management to fix the problem.

u need to run the afc hack, search and you will find info on it. personally, id get rid of that setup and go uberdata since you have the parts u need already.

Are you running an FMU as well? If so, as stated above do the AFC-hack.

Another thing you can look into doing is getting an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and lowering your static fuel pressure.

Im running 450's in my fordged B16 with an AFC and its fine. I had the opposite, it would hold an afr of 12 all the way to 4k rpm then go lean then it was fine at 4.5k again. ended up running 45 psi static fuel pressure (with walbro 255) with the afc set 6% richer at 4k than 3k and 5k.
Are you using any check valves, fmu ect?

dump all that crap and get real engine management.

Your car will run smoother, better, and safer. No it doesn't cost more or take more of your time cause you won't blow your **** up.

tx for your input. I will be checking on the afc hack and specially the uberdata since it doesnt seem to be costing all that much.

For your questions, no I dont have an FMU nor the afc hack nor a fuel regulator.
