Default horsepower and turbo manifold question

yea i was just wondering if anybody out there is making power in the mid to high 600's without using a full-race manifold? if so what manifold r u running, how much boost ur running, compression, and turbo size. thanks a lot.

Art is making a lot of power on an inlinepro manifold, lots of other will too.

Compression doesn't play a very big role in how much peak power you can make, and not that great on the powerband either, so don't get hung up on it.

manifold will effect spool time mostly, full-race is good stuff, actually they are one of the best. but there are other companys that come close. I know somone making 649 whp on his SSautocrome mani on a fully built h22 dont know why he trusts it but he does. anyways I would reccomend Neukin (sp?) I know lots of people using them with great luck. I have one-fab and it is damn nice but after looking at all my recipts the other night i kinda wished i went with the neukin ram horn. people are making over 600whp on cast manifolds such as inlinepro but with a tubular mani you will probably have alot better spool time and flow better.

People are making over 500whp with low boost (area of 10lbs) but you need a big turbo to do this, big turbo is going to give you alot of spool time.

compression with our motors, well your not going to gain much if any spool time, it will just make it harder to tune. keep it in the area of 9.2:1 and you'll like it. bigger bore will help you spool faster and make more power but bigger bore means thinner cylinder walls

Full race is top notch, but there are similar manifolds available from many manufacturers.

Here's our offerings from KRBfab:

i already have my set-up. comp. is 8.4:1 on a completly ls eng. stage 5 (full out race) port and polish and crower custom grind turbo cams. and an sc61 with a drag mani and full 3" exaust. the reason i started this topic is to find out what other mani's perform as well as the full-race. i know its probably the best out there right now. but it is expensive so im trying meet in the middle between performance and price thats all. that is why i am asking for ur comp, psi, turbo, and mani. thanks for the reply's and body else?

I have personally seen 500whp with an Inline Pro exhaust manifold. At the same time I know if the owner were to switch his Inline Pro exhaust manifold out for a Full-Race exhaust manifold it would of made more power.
