Default My DA integra History w/pics (not dial up friendly!)

Well, I finally got around to getting a digi cam and snapping off a few pics. This is my history up to date so enjoy!

Here is my black DA...sold it for $3000 with a blown head gasket. Took of the lip though. I miss her!

After the black one, I bought a 92 GSR. Slightly modded with GUDE cams and I/E. B17A is great!

Then...1 week later. Took off in 1st gear, went to 7K rpm's and dropped the gear to 2nd and BAM! BAM! BAM! Connection rod and piston #3 actually went sideways into the block and dropped a valve. Cylinder wall is cracked all the way down.

Spark plug #3:

Now, I have a B16A engine with the B17A YS1 Tranny. A great combo!

The engine is damn dirty...sorry!

Well folks, there you have it. You play hard you learn hard. I should have kept my black DA and thrown in a B16, but it was too late. I'm happy with the car, the engine is doing nicely. I plan on doing some paint and body work and replace the B16 cams with the GUDE's and ITR valve train. All comments welcomed!

wow, that 1-2 shift was nasty.....I do it soooooo much and I'm still waiting for the day she goes BOOM....oh well, rebuild her with all type r internals then I guess......how many miles were on the car when she exploded? Do you think the GUDE cams had anything to do with it? My friend had a G2 gsr and man it was tight, he would rev that thing to 8400 and she would still purr like a kitten, don't know how it took all that abuse.....then she was f*ckin' stolen.....

Do you read anything or do you just look at the pix, he has already replaced the motor with a B16A and is planning on installing the Bullfrog errr Gude cams.
