Gsr turns over but wont start
I need some help here, I was backing out of a parting spot and stalled my car by mistake. When I tried to start it up again, It would turn over well but not fire up. The car is old, 1994 gsr w/129k, so I think it could be a fuel thing maybe? I know my battery, plugs and wires are good so what could it be?
Definitely sounds like something with the fuel? Maybe you got some water (or sugar
) in your tank? I had the same problem when I first got my car...but it was just me shifting so horribly that the wire was coming off of the battery. A wrench and hammer sure fixed that ^^

You either have a fuel or spark problem. Here's how to check:
1. Unplug 1 plug wire at a time and put the tip of it near any chassis ground.
2. Have a friend crank the car and check for arc.
3. If all 4 cylinders have spark, then either replace the fuel pump, or fuel pump relay.

yeah check for spark by pulling the plug wires...if your getting spark then go down to your fuel filter and crack that little screw loose to see if your getting fuel...most likly your not getting spark from the coil or ignitor..its a common thing with hondas and acuras...if you have both spark and fuel...then the only thing i can think of is maybe the fuse for the ecu...i know one time i took out my fuse for the ecu and forgot to put it back and all my car did was crank...hth

Ignitor would be my first choice followed closely by a battery that is dying. Before I changed my battery it would register good voltage but could not produce enough cranking amps to start the engine.
my friend has had the same problem with his mustang.... it turns over, but all it does is make this click click click click click click noise.... tried jumpin the battery, didnt do anything..... same problem or wut? this car only has 17,000 miles on it

if the starter is just clicking it would be either a dead battery but you said that you tried to jump it so its mostlikly the starter...a different problem then what hte gsr is going through
