Alright I took my sweet *** civic ex full type r swap and ran it up on a curb hard. Well guess what I busted my S80 LSD tranny housing to hell and back. Among several other nonmechanical issues. My insurance says the car ain't worth **** and they want to total it. **** the insurance the car aint worth **** once totalled.

So here is the punch line how hard is it to get just a tranny casing S80 LSD, and linkage for 97 civic ex. And what are the odds something didnt get fucked up inside. Won't go into reverse but believe that to be due to bent linkage. Any and all replies appreciated any questions feel free to ask.

yes, you can swap all the parts over but it may need to be re-shimmed. Finding a GSR casing for cheap will be the hard part.

 

its tough finding just a tranny casing..usually they sell with thtranny itself...
