Latch on my 00 GSR doesn't lock sometimes... common problem?
Sometimes when I shut the hatch of my teg, it seems to just bounce and not lock like it should. Doesn't happen too often, but always when I have something in the other hand. If I play with the locking mechanism a few times it seems to "reset" the lock and it then it works fine.
Any idea what is causing this? Just needs to be lubed up? What should I use for that if that's the case?
Thanks guys.
theres that little lever under the hatch that you slide to open it, sometimes those stick "open". Mine does it once in a while, you just get used to resetting it everytime you open the hatch

Mine does the exact same thing sometimes. I figured that out during the winter season when my locks freeze and the hatch lock is the only one I can use.

Nope, it's just broke. It will eventually stop working overall. Just fork out the money if you want it to work properly.
