ok i was wondering are there any good write up on a d15 sohc vtec swap into a si crx??? i know the mounts are the same and all (just swapped a dohc zc in my car 2 months ago but it spun a bearing) the only place im stumped is the vtec and wiring and sensors matching up to my harness

heres my questions

can i use a crx si intake mani fold on this motor so that way i KNOW the sensors will all wires up and on the dizzy....is there any extra wiring like there was on the dohc zc swap??? and wiring up the vtec??? what should i do here i know i could get the p28 ecu the sub harness and the injectors taht way the vtec can be wired up and engage with the right oil pressure ect... but cash is limited so i need to see what i can do without HAVING to buy....


so again can i get the crx si IM and use that and then just wire up the vtec either to a shift light or VTEC controller???? and what wiring is there that has to be done since it is an obd1 motor and my harness is obd0

just use the z6 im, its basically the same

 

and is there any re-wiring or anything??? cause i heard if i use the sohc vtec intake mani i have to use the wiring harness and ecu also but if i want to keep mine i have to use the crx si intake mani

 

no extra wiring on the z6 im, the map sensor is optional to use, u can use the stock one

 

damn you know what i relized i hacked up my distributor harness when i did the zc swap and i threw out the crx dizzy harness NOW I HAVE to find another!!!!! damn...cause for the zc you have the cam angle sensor which is only two wire so you have to seperate em and all this ect.... but ya now i need a crx harness for the dizzy.....damnit but thanks on the info that all i needed to know now i need to get a dizzy with BOTH harnesses lol and a vtec solenoid....will my alternator bolt on it looks like it will but i wanna make sure thanks again
