Looking for a high-volume oil pump for my D16Z6.
I picked up an oil pump from Autozone and my oil pressure seems pretty low, my Google search didn't yeild any results on a D-series high volume pump, is one available?
I heard high volume pumps cause lots of oil build up in the head or something along those lines....
i would try to find out the problem and fix it...
good luck

I'm pretty sure the problem is that i used an Autozone cheapie pump, pressure at 1,100RPMs (my idle) is around 15, 30 at cruising RPMs, 50 around 4,000 and 60-65 around redline, cold start is at 85.
I really want the insurance of a high-volume pump.

lol
just because you can move the oil into the engine dosent mean it can drain that fast. oit will create more problems than good.
there is nothing wrong with a OEM honda pump. NOT AN AUTOZONE PUMP
never EVER use anything from autozone that is vital to operation of your engine. period.
