silverstars

i run them in my sonar projectors [flame away], and my friend uses them in his fogs and his lowbeams. they last a real long time, and are a nice white.

looks like you got an answer. silverstars

as for the luminics, they're not dot compliant, so technically not street legal.
and as for the hid kit posted, its just hids in stock housing

Use to have Silverstars. I now use PIAA Super Plasma GTX H4. The light output is far superior than the SS. Its 5oook for low beam and 42ook for high beam. Quite expensive, but its really nice. Its not ricey blue either.

My old EJ1 had Lumincs Ultra Violet lights in it, my new car has PIAA lights in it. I liked the ultra violets, but I like the PIAAs muuuch more

I like my Silverstars. They put out whiter light than halogens.

The high beams are freakin' awesome. They're great for retaliation against SUV drivers that refuse to turn off their high beams.

Only downside is they burn out fairly quickly (between 6-12 months), but I've adapted by keeping a spare bulb in the trunk.
