Help Me ID A Prop Valve!
hey guys, I just bought a prop valve off a local dude. it's not stamped '4040', but he swears up and down it is mean for civic rear disc conversions and that if I find out otherwise he will replace it for a '4040'. The unit is stamped '1725' in the location the '4040' stamp would be'. in every other aspect the unit appears to be a '4040', save the stamp. there is also one casting mark that says '42' on one end and side of the valve, and on the opposite end and side there's a casting mark with the number '34' on it. help me out guys, trying to get everything together so I can install
92-95? Let me see if i could pull anything out of the helms. Usually for 92-95 there should be the stamp right there. I know nothing of this 1725, part number maybe? 96 and up i have no clue. Let me look though.
Edit: Of course the helms doesnt give out part numbers or discriptions very well and on SLhonda i couldnt even find the ******. Hope someone could help you out better.

That's because non-ABS '92-95 Si hatches have 9.5" front brakes. The 4040 valve is for a car with 10.3" fronts.
