Trying to locate the front bumper reenforcement
For weight reduction purpose, which section is the bumper reinforcement? I hope people are not removing the 5mph absorber... Anyone? Mike k?
Actually weighs just over 50lbs and not it isn't worth it.
PLus it takes weight off the front wheels. Can't be good for FWD. Take the rear reinforcement off, if something hits there it isn't your fault

Thanks, can you give me advice as to how to remove the rear support? I may not do it, but I still want to know what the support is all about.
Bob is right . . . I was kidding.
As for how to I dunno cause I have never taken the rear bumper cover off. FYI, the bumper as you call it is just a plastic cover over the actual bumper reinforcement. You would have to take off the cover then the bumper.
